The “Melissa” hit maker is set to perform as a curtain raiser to the Ghana Premier League game which will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
This comes after the management of Legon Cities FC reached an agreement with Shatta Wale to perform before kick-off.
Ahead of the game, the Shatta Movement boss has rallied fans to come cheer the club to victory.
In a Twitter post, Shatta Wale called on fans of Legon Cities to grace the stadium in their numbers to help the side defeat Kotoko.
“Let’s all meet at the Accra Sports stadium this Friday to cheer on Legon Cities FC to a win,” he wrote.
Legon Cities FC drew 2-2 with Liberty Professionals on matchday 1 and will be hoping to record their first win of the season when the Porcupine Warriors visit on Friday.
