Dr. Amoah in an interview with Pulse.com.gh after the Extra-Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association held at the Ghana Physician and Surgeon Council on Thursday indicated that the nomination fee for the GFA elections is moderate in order not to deter qualified persons with weak financial standings from contesting.

“The fee will be in the neighbourhood of GHC 5,000 if you want to be the president, which everyone can afford. We don’t want to make it too high, to disqualify people who can be good but can’t afford.

“But you need to be able to finance the cost of your elections. However, sometimes people can even pay for someone to contest”.
