Reports from a section of the media last week suggested the Ministry is yet to clear the two-month salary arears.

According to the report, Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah and other technical team members have not been paid since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Daily Graphic reports that officials at the Sports Ministry have since refused to comment on the allegations when contacted.

It said sources at the Ministry failed to confirm or deny the story, except to say that officials would respond to the allegation at the appropriate time.

Coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah, is reportedly currently on $35,000 as his monthly salary.

Two years ago, the 58-year-old suffered a similar fate when his salary and signing-on fee were delayed for two months.

Appiah has been under huge pressure following his failure to guide Ghana to the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
