Manchester City earned a whopping 4.4m euros from the 2018 FIFA World Cup staged in Russia.

Real Madrid who came second trailed the English giants 200, 000 euros, after receiving a total amount of 4.2m euros.

FIFA disbursed an amount of 190 million euros to 416 clubs in 63 different countries at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Manchester City produced the highest number of players at the 2018 FIFA World Cup-16, followed by Real Madrid with 15 players.

Each club earned 7,500 euros per player per day that they were working with their national team, from two weeks before the beginning of the tournament.

Clubs across Spain earned some money for the release of their players, with Barcelona collecting 3.6m euros and Atletico Madrid making 2.6m euros.
