Goldfields Tarkwa Darman in their quest to give back to society have signed a new contract with Tarkwa Medeama SC.

Goldfields were the title sponsors of Medeama when they made it into the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2,016, but sponsorship was suspended for some time now, however, the two parties have signed an improved deal which will give the two times Ghana FA Cup champions a major financial boost as they seek to win the Ghana Premier League for the first time.

Goldfields are also constructing a stadium for Medeama which cost something in the region of $12m.
Goldfields Tarkwa Darman have over the years contributed immensely to the development of Ghana Sports and it would be recalled that Ghana owe their qualification to the FIFA World Cup in 2006 to a huge sponsorship from the mining company.
Medeama are currently sitting on top of the Ghana Premier League with 24 points after 14 games played thus far.
