Both Ronaldo and Messi post training pictures in reaction to the game on Sunday

On Sunday, Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-1 at the Camp Nou in the furstleg of the Spanish Super Cup.

The aftermath of the game gave birth to the banter on the Cristiano replica of Messi’s goal celebration and the five game ban meted on Ronaldo. These two highlights after the game got people talking.

Interestingly both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have reacted to the outcome of the game by posting pictures with captions which speak volumes on Instagram.

Ronaldo is banned for 5 games due to misconduct portrayed in the game against Barcelona.

Referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea was shoved by the Portuguese star on the back after being showed the red card.

However, the notion of a prospective ban did not deter the current Ballon D'Or yielder from going to training and having a good time.

Cristiano Ronaldo posted a picture alongside with his teammates posing in a hilarious fashion on Instagram.

The post is captioned “Great session this morning!!! Winning team”

In the opposing camp of Barcelona, has Lionel Messi who is certainly not banned would be poised to face Real Madrid in the 2nd leg.

Lionel Messi also post a picture where he uses a swear word as he could not hide his emotions after the 3-1 loss to Real Madrid.

In Messi’s caption he says “fucked up day, but you gotta get up and go. This just started”.

The 2nd leg is scheduled on the 16th of the August, 2017 at the Estadio Santiago De Bernabeu. The off the pitch drama indeed sets the atmosphere for an intriguing game to take place in Madrid.
