Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has reportedly been sacked from the Black Stars camp for arriving late without permission.
The Black Stars are scheduled to play against Morocco and Ivory Coast in two high-profile international friendlies this week.
CK Akonnor’s side will take on the Atlas Lions on Tuesday, June 8 in Rabat, before playing against the Elephants on June 12 in Cape Coast.
Partey is, however, set to miss both games after reportedly being sent home for reporting late to camp without permission.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars have touched down in Rabat, where they’ll be facing Morocco in an international friendly.
Over the weekend, the team was visited by Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif and Deputy Minister-designate Evans Opoku Bobie at their camp.
The two government officials paid a courtesy call on the team to wish them well ahead of their two international friendlies.
The players who have so far reported in camp include Jordan Ayew, Baba Rahman, Daniel Amartey, Kudus Mohammed, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, among others.
