These are some of the things you need to know about Bernard Tekpetey.
1. He joined the Bundesliga giants, Schalke 04 from Ghanaian second tier side Unistar Soccer Academy in Accra. Tekpetey spent close to a month at the Veltins-Arena on trials during which he convinced the technical team of the Royal Blues.
2.The young Ghanaian plays as a centre forward/arrow-head. He has the ability to hold on to the ball and cause a lot of troubles in the opponents' goal area and also uses his strength to bully defenders.

3. Tekpetey, 19 is one of the Ghanaian teenagers doing so well in European football. On his debut against Nice he managed to force his way through the French side's defence and was brought down to win a penalty for Schalke 04.
4. Bernard Tekpeteh made his UEFA Europa League debut on 24 November 2016 against OGC Nice.

5. Tekpetey was sent off in his debut game for Schalke 04 when they defeated OGC Nice 2-0. Hence, he gave a bad account of himself, as a dirty player and it is an infamous disciplinary record.
