Kotoko confirm resigning Seidu Bancey

The Porcupine Warriors have resigned the former Local Black Stars attacker on a 2-year deal

Asante Kotoko completed the registration of their former striker Seidu Bancey on the deadline day of the 2nd transfer window of the Ghana Premier League on a deal that will keep him at the Kumasi based outfit until 2018.

The clinical finisher registered 11 Ghana Premier League goals in the 2013-14 season, but missed out on the top scorer’s award to Augustine Ocrah and formed a perfect strike partnership with Yahaya Mohammed.

Seidu Bancey after helping Kotoko win a double of FA Cup and league titles that season, left the country to ply his trade with the Egyptian side Smouha, before joining Al-Nabi Shayth of Lebanon, but terminated his contract after six months.

However, Asante Kotoko who still have confidence in his striking prowess believe he would be key in their quest to reclaim the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup.
