Ahmed Toure left out of Kotoko's list of registered players

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have left out Ahmed Toure’s name from the club’s official list of registered players for the 2015/16 Ghana premier league, Pulse Ghana Sports can confirm.

The local transfer window which was shut last Wednesday saw Ahmed Toure’s name missing from the club’s roaster meaning he was not registered for the upcoming season.

However, Toure who is currently not in Ghana have gone awol and the club’s management are yet to establish contact with him as they prepare feverishly ahead of the upcoming season.

And Asante Kotoko Operation Manager George Kennedy in an exclusive interview with Pulse Ghana Sports confirmed that the Burkinabe international wasn’t registered by the club ahead of the upcoming season.

“We didn’t register Ahmed Toure because he told us he was going for an assignment in Burkina Faso and since then we have not heard from him so at the time of registration he wasn’t around so we couldn’t register him.

“The management will be meeting soon to take a decision on him, whether he will stay at the club or we will let him go.”

Toure last season joined the dethroned league champions on a two-year deal where he scored 15 goals in all competition.
