Thomas Partey omitted from CAF’S 10-man shortlist
Thomas Partey has failed to make the cut for the 10-man shortlist for the 2018 CAF African Footballer of the Year.

Partey was one of the 23 players from the African continent who were recognized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for their performances on the field for the year 2018.
However, he has been left out from nominees when the list was trimmed down to 10 by the CAF Technical & Development Committee following a vote.

Meanwhile in the women’s category Black Queens duo Elizabeth Addo and Priscilla Boakye and Black Maidens sensation Mukarama Abdulai were among the 10 shortlisted players for the African Women’s Footballer ofthe Year.
