Moroccan star signs for Benfica

Former Tottenham midfielder, Adel Taarabt has joined Portuguese champions Benfica after he was released by English side, Queens Park Rangers.

The Moroccan featured just eight times of Queens Park Rangers in the just concluded season.

Following the QPR's relegation to the Championship, Taarabt's contract was terminated by mutual consent and has now signed a five-year contract with the Portuguese club.
