The Kwabenya Police station was attacked in the early hours of Sunday by unknown assailants which saw seven inmates running out the cells.
Seventy-eight (78) alleged suspects connected to the jail break at the Kwabenya Police station have been arrested by the Greater Accra police command for investigations.
The Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, ASPÂ Afia Tenge, has disclosed that the suspects are under interrogations.
The attack has caused the death of a senior Police officer who was shot in the process.
The Police has assured the public that they are doing everything possible to arrest the culprits.
The Security agency has promised an amount of GH¢I5,000 to the public to provide information to arrest the perpetrators of the crime.
The Police has also revealed the identities of some seven (7) suspects who escaped lawful custody.
