“They first offered me $4,000 and explained that some of the artistes they have worked accepted the same amount. But I told them that if some artistes have taken it, I am different and I don’t take delight in sitting on a plane. I always do business so I asked my management to talk to them and add some more,” he told Sammy Flex on Pluzz FM today.
“So, they went and came back with $15,000. They spent about a year and half years to draw this final conclusion. We initially asked them to pay $30,000 but we concluded at $15,000. I told my management point blank that before I move to Kenya, $15,000 should first be paid,” he added.
Shatta wale also added that he is the highest paid artiste among the entire artistes in the 4th edition of Coke Studio Africa.
Shatta Wale will be pairing with Yemi Alade but says he didn’t like the pair.
