Today, the flow is no different in Ghana, whose music industry now houses some of the finest to ever do it - say hello to DJ Bluey.

Largely evading Ghanaians due to his existence in the diaspora, specifically the UK, DJ Bluey’s footprint back home is simply understated for a personality his stature; which is insane considering he has been in the game as far back as 2011 with a reputation that is long-standing.

Before signing to his current record label, 7Wallace - owned by ‘’The Suicide Squad 2’’ movie star, Idris Elba, Ernest J as he’s formally known began equally bright under the aegis of Akon’s Konvict, with whom he spent 7 years performing alongside. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

DJ Bluey, who also doubles as a tuneful producer has been active in releasing music all the same.

He recently earned a slot on the official soundtrack for EA Sports’ FIFA 22 game with one of his own ‘Wine It’, brandishing him to the much-loved series’ massive audience in the weeks and months ahead.

As his catalog of hits: ‘Bodywerk’, ‘Dance & Sweat’ and ‘Senses’ continue to creep onto charts, next to his 2020 Urban Music Awards nomination for ‘’Best DJ’’, DJ Bluey may be Ghana’s finest disc jockey yet abroad.
