Eric Amoateng to file submission of no case

Lawyers of former legislator Eric Amoateng has been urged to file a submission of no case by the judge hearing the case Ellen Vivian Amoah in the case where he is been tried by the state for possessing a fake Ghanaian passport.

The judge's advice followed the failure of prosecutors to present a forensic report the court ordered about 4 months ago.

Eric Amoateng was arrested and subsequently arraigned before court for possessing a fake passport when he returned to country after serving a 10 year jail sentence for dealing in drugs in the United states.

The judge has adjourned the case to the September 28,  2015.
