Korle-Bu Pharmacy In Flames

The fire which started around 2 pm Monday is believed to have been caused by a faulty air conditioner.

A worker of the pharmacy who attempted to jump through a window to avoid the fire has been seriously injured.

The Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Mustapha Salifu in an interview on Asempa FM said investigations have began to determine the real cause of the fire.

He said some important documents have been destroyed by the fire.

It took the timely intervention of the Ghana National Fire Service to extinguish the fire from spreading to other parts of the hospital.
