Ghana Football Association (GFA) vice-president George Afriyie has tipped in-form
The Phobians prior to the season were among the clubs the bookmakers of the game penciled down to struggle when the season takes off due to their poor display in their off-season games.
But the Accra giants have begun the season on a winsome note as they have recorded back to back victories against New Edubiase and Medeama SC respectively.
And with the current form of the former Premier League champions who are chasing their first league title success in seven seasons, the Vice-President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has backed them to win the ongoing top-flight championship.
“From what I am seeing I won’t be surprise to see Hearts of Oak winning the Premier League,” George Afriyie told Starr FM.
Hearts of Oak’s strength will be tested this weekend in their away game to Dwarfs on match day three of the Ghana Premier League.
