Inter Allies forward Frederick Yamoah says he is content with their goalless draw game with Hearts of Oak in the opening match day fixture on Monday at the El-Wak Stadium.
Both sides exhibited some great piece of football but it was Inter Allies who were playing at home and had the better chances but they failed to put the ball at the back of the net.
“Ahead of the game we were tensed because playing against Hearts of Oak is not easy because they are a big club in Ghana, so there will be tension but as the game goes on the tension will reduce,” Yamoah said after the game.
“We are happy with the score line because at least we have got a point which is not a bad a result, the only thing we have to do is to work more so that we can get the result we want.”
Since Inter Alllies qualified to the elite division three-season ago, they have playing their home games at the Tema Stadium which has an Astroturf but this season they have adapted El-Wak Stadium as their home.
And Yamoah has indicated that the El-Wak Stadium pitch is not good enough.
“Playing at El-Wak pitch is difficult compared to the Astroturf in Tema because the pitch has little pot holes but we managed but gradually we will get use to the pitch,” he added.
