Duncan on Monday was told by the Kumasi based club to step aside until further notice following the club’s poor display in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Strand who is currently having a frosty relationship with his employers and has heavily been linked with a move to the Kumasi giants has backed the club’s management decision in directing Duncan to step aside.
“Is a good decision. Duncan had many chances. They gave him a lot of time. They (Kotoko) have been fair to him. Honest truth!,” Strand told Starr FM.
Assistant trainer Michael Osei has been appointed as interim head coach and he will be supported by Godwin Ablordey.
