Kevin-Prince Boateng has joined Barcelona on loan

Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has added Barcelona to the long collection of clubs he’s played for in the last couple of years.

The Spanish giants confirmed the loan signing of the 31-year-old on Monday evening to bring finality to earlier speculation.

Barcelona also have an option to sign Boateng from Serie A side Sassuolo for a £7.1m fee in the summer.

The former AC Milan and Tottenham star becomes the first Ghanaian to play for Barcelona and his move has got social media buzzing.

Many Ghanaians did not really believe the rumours, but once Barca confirmed that move, Twitter has been flooded to reactions.
