How You Can Buy Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' Amazing Watchmen Soundtrack

The debut episode of HBO's Watchmen series had a lot going for it, between its stellar acting, throwbacks to the comic , stunning visuals, and surprising plot twists and turns . A bonus addition to all that came in the form of the show's exceptional music curation; some of that comes in the form of existing songs via soundtrack , but most of the show's music is original, composed by a music legend in Trent Reznor and his partner Atticus Ross.

Earlier today, after much chatter online about how awesome the soundtrack was, Reznor and Ross revealed on Nine Inch Nails' website that the soundtrack would be released throughout the show's first season run, in three separate volumes. The first will be released November 4, the second November 25, and the third December 16th.

Reznor and Rosswho are now the two full-time members of Nine Inch Nails, Reznor's legendary band formed back in 1988have had exceptional success and proved particularly good at film and television scores in the last decade. Their score for The Social Network won an Academy Award, and subsequent efforts for movies like Gone Girl, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and Mid-90s have proven just as strong.

Outside of the physical releases of the soundtrack's volumes, it's not clear whether or not the music will hit streaming sites like Spotify or Apple Musicbut we imagine it will. And as all Reznor/Ross soundtracks, it will make for some great music to listen to while sitting at your desk, sure to make whatever you're doing feel way more intense.
