Chinese action movie star Jackie Chan, has thrown his support behind Beijing's bid to host the 2022 Winter Olympics.
The movie legend made an appearance on Wednesday, May 27 to add his voice to the campaign and even unveiled a song he recorded to promote the bid.
The 60-year-old introduced his new tune 'Wake Up Winter' saying he was prepared to help the bid in any way he could.
"It's a big honor and pleasure to participate in this and do something for the Winter Olympics bidding," Chan said.
"If there is anything I can do, I will be there every time."
Chan it can be recalled also held in China's successful bid to host the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.
He also made a singing appearance at the closing ceremony.
Beijing is considered the favorite in this election over sole rival Almaty, Kazakhsta.
The winner will be announced on Friday, July 31 in Malaysia and if Beijing's bid is successful, it will become the first city to host both the Summer and Winter Olympics.
