'Django' star denies dating Katie Holmes

Despite the growing rumors, actor Jamie Foxx has denied that he's dating Katie Holmes.

Photographers caught up with Foxx in a Los Angeles parking lot and asked him about the budding romance with Tom Cruise's ex.

Foxx replied: "Oh come on, you guys have been trying to make that stick for three years." Adding that, "We're just friends."

He clarified that the two were working on an animation project with CSI creator Anthony Zuiker and there's nothing more.

"It's a part of our lives," he said about the never-ending rumor mill.

Rumors of their alleged romance have been swirling for a while. They started in August 2013 when the two were spotted dancing together at a soiree in the East Hamptons.
