American singer releases new single “Far From Heaven” to end her nine-year drought

After having issues with her former record label, American singer, JoJo is out with another beautiful ballad. The Atlantic Records act ended a nine-year drought today (April 17) with the release of “Far From Heaven,” a stellar ballad that was worth the wait.

JoJo’s previous hits like “Too Little, Too Late” were poppy and highly produced; “Far From Heaven” is a sparse song that underscores JoJo’s voice with only a piano. That voice sounds better than ever.

No word yet on when her third studio album would be released but reports are surfacing that Sam Smith, Pharrell, MNEK and Mac Miller could be connected to the project.
