Speaking on Citi TV’s The Tracker show, the retired goalkeeper praised Jordan’s maturity and growth in recent years.

According to him, the striker’s versatility allows him to play in a variety of roles, which make him a perfect fit in any team.

“Jordan could be better than Asamoah Gyan. Jordan can be used in multiple functionalities,” Mr. Damba said.

“He can be used as a typical playmaker or as a lead striker. He has grown over a period and has become a better player who is confident and strong on the ball

“He is a proper team player and can fit in any team.”

Jordan has been in imperious form this season, scoring four goals in the Premier League for Crystal Palace.

The 28-year-old’s impressive performances have seen him scoop the club’s Player of the Month award twice.

Meanwhile, Jordan has so far scored 17 goals for the Black Stars.
