Aston Villa go into their game against AFC Bournemouth 15 points away from the next safe spot which is occupied by Norwich City in 17th position.

Jordan Ayew's Aston Villa have 16 point with Norwich City having accumulated 31 points so far.Aston Villa and Norwich City have six games to play in the English Premier League which give a maximum of 18 points.

If Aston Villa lose their Premier League game against Bournemouth, a draw or win for Norwich City who play 16th place Crystal Palace will take Norwich to either  32 or 34 points respectively.

That will mean an 18-point difference between Aston Villa and the next safe 17th position with 5 games to be place which gives a maximum 15 points.Aston Villa will officially be relegated in the scenario outline.

If Jordan Ayew's side match Norwich City's results, the relegation might not be official on Saturday but the goal difference could be a huge task for Eric Black's team who will eventually go down against Manchester United away at Old Trafford.

Aston Villa have played 32 games in the Premier League so far and have accumulated 16 points from a possible 96. Jordan's side have scored 22 goals and conceded 62 in their games.
