Head coach Steve Pollack reveres Otumfuo as a wise man

Head coach Steve Pollack has made the assertion that the "Asantehene" can be likened to King Solomon in the Bible.

The head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Steve Pollack has been in high praise of the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The King of the Asante Kingdom is the owner and the life patron of the Kumasi based club and the trophy and by that virtue the trophy was presented to him.

The English trainer made likened him to King Solomon in the Bible with the words of wisdom he heard from the Asantehene.

“He sounds like a very wise man. In listening to him he sounded like he could be my father’s brother and I’m his nephew.

Pollack then broke down the wise words of the Asantehene.

“He was speaking the way that I speak. If you not good enough you don’t play for Kotoko. If you don’t try you will not play for Kotoko. If you coming here for money you don’t play for Kotoko.

“He told me the roles of a coach which I am gladly pre-informed about. I believe he is a wise man and I was told they call him King Solomon."

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will participate in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup. The Ghana Black Stars coach who is also a former Kotoko player and he had some words for the Porcupine Warriors

I think going for this competition good.  For now  they have to make the right recruitment and "If you're willing to be among the best, you should be ready to spend."
