Lenovo has launched two new laptops for the US market. According to Engadget, the Lenovo  LaVie Z and LaVie Z 360 are featherweight laptops.

With an impressive 13-inch screen, the sleek design and lightweight should not be mistaken for low performance, one tech analyst said.

Lenovo says people carrying this laptop, will not feel the weight on their shoulder. The Lenovo  LaVie Z and LaVie Z 360 both have Quad HD screens, 8GB of RAM, Core i7 processors, and a 256GB drive.

The Lenovo LaVie Z costs $1,700 while its counterpart, the Lenovo LaVie Z 360 will be going for $1,850.

Engadget says the devices cost more than was predicted last month when news of a new laptop from Lenovo filtered in. It also weigh more than the taunted 1.87 pounds.
