Liquidator begins payment of locked-up funds to customers of Fund Management Companies
The Official Liquidator of <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/bi/finance/heres-a-list-of-fund-managers-operating-in-ghana-after-sec-revoked-licenses-of-53/1sy92ww">Fund Management Companies</a>- the Registrar-General has announced that her outfit has commenced payment of locked-up investments to customers of the defunct Fund Management Companies whose licenses were revoked by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Mrs. Jemima Oware announced this in a statement dated October 9, saying “payment of the bailout funds of the first batch of investors has begun as at close of business on 7th October 2020.”

According to the Registrar-General, this follows the successful validation of claims and the completion of creditor meetings between her office and investors of the first 20 Fund Management Companies who chose to accept the Bailout package.
