Speaking to the media at the state funeral service held for the late Theodosia Okoh on Thursday, Mr. Rawlings noted that the act depicts how poor the country’s maintenance culture is.

“Go back to the days and just take a picture of it. This is a sad reflection; the kind of irresponsibility I keep talking about. Fortunately, the vice president sitting next to me also drew my attention to it. He also noticed it. It is nice to know that some people up there are aware of the unpleasant things that have been going on. This is a sad reflection”, he said.

Mrs. Okoh, who designed the national flag died on April 19, 2015, at the age of 92. She was born on June 14, 1922 at Anum in the Asuogyaman District in the Eastern Region.
