Nana Oye Lithur loses NDC primaries

Former Gender Minister, Nana Oye Lithur, has lost the National Democratic Congress primaries in the Adentan constituency.

Oye Lithur polled 559 votes while Mohammed Adamu Ramadan polled 716 votes to grab the party's ticket.

After the contest, Oye Lithur said that she didn't expect to lose the elections.
