We earlier reported that the 25-year-old Australian rapper announced via Twitter on June 8 that she's canceling her performance after receiving serious backlash from the LGBT community for her past tweets, considered to be homophobic.

In a press release, Nick said, ''When I heard about the difficult position Pittsburgh Pride was in just days before their event, I knew I had to find a way to help.''

''I’m excited to do what I can to support the LGBT community in Pittsburgh, and I look forward to seeing you this Saturday as we celebrate together,'' he added.

The 22-year-old singer was last spotted arriving at the Los Angeles LAX Airport on Wednesday, June 10 but never gave a comment about his new gig.
