NPP hasn't paid me for campaign song - Kwabena Kwabena

The High Life musician born George Kwabena Adu has disclosed that he has not received any sort of compensation for the popular campaign song he composed for then-candidate Akufo-Addo in 2016.

Kwabena Kwabena explains that the campaign song (Vote number 1) was recorded out of his love for Nana Akufo-Addo.

“The song wasn’t sponsored nor paid for by anyone from the party, I did it out of the love for Nana Akufo-Addo who was the flagbearer", he said during a conversation with Nana Aba Anamoah on Starr Chat.

Asked if he expected anything gain from the song, the 'Asor' singer said “though I wasn’t expecting anything, even God who created his world always needs us to show gratitude, that’s why he excepts us to worship him all the time".
