MUSIGA President says it's unfair to disqualify Shatta Wale from 2016 VGMAs

In an interview with Sammy Flex on AM Pluzz show on Accra based Pluzz FM, the MUSIGA president stated that though Shatta's disqualification is unfair, he believes that every institution has its set of rules and ethics therefore if one breaks those codes sanctions must follow.

"I think it was unfair to take Shatta Wale out of this years VGMA but it doesn’t mean we should also support disrespect in the music industry there’s rules that govern every association and if you break them you are likely to face sanctions,” Obour opined.

Shatta Wale, 31, was disqualified from the 17th edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for maligning the nomination board a few months ago.
