Petr Cech has been relegated to the bench all season since the arrival of Thibaut Courtois and with his contract at Stamford Bridge set to expire next year reports of him leaving have been rife.

Arsenal are favourite to sign the 32-year-old but Mourinho has revealed that if he has his way, Cech will remain at the club or be sold abroad instead of Arsenal or any other Premier League club.

"One thing is Jose Mourinho and another is and another thing is the board because the board is a little bit of me and other people," Mourinho said.

"If it was my decision, the decision is Petr to stay. That's it.

"For me, decision one would be for Petr to stay. After that, second point, to go but not in England. The option I don't want is for him to go to an English club. But, I repeat, I am just the manager. If the club decision is different to mine I will accept it."
