The late Johnson Ofori aka Agya Amponsah, died at the age of 89 years after short illness.

Highlife singer Ofori Amponsah has finally laid his late dad to rest at the Bompata in the Asante Akyim district in the Eastern Region.

His burial ceremony was organised at Ofori Amponsah’s family home on Saturday 26th June 2017.
The singer entertained sympathisers at his dad funeral. Dignitaries at the burial were legendary, Amakye Dede, Chief and Manager of Ofori Amponsah, Mr Ashes.
