Pilot involved in Kobe Bryant's helicopter clash was disoriented- Investigators

Over a year after the tragic accident, details continue to emerge about the helicopter crash that took the lives of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others.

The latest information to come out suggests negligence on the part of the pilot.

According to investigators Ara Zobayan violated federal rules by flying into the clouds and almost certainly became disoriented.

"That inhospitable climate didn't suddenly appear," said Bill English, head of the investigative team on the case.English also explained that the crash occurred just a few minutes from an airport where he could have landed.

The National Transportation Safety Board have said that there were no clear signs of a significant engine failure.Zoboyan had written the night before the accident that things "weren't the best", but on the morning of the crash he said that "it looked good".
