Sarkodie has won the Artiste of the Decade at the Vodafone Ghana Music Award.

He saw off competition from Okyeame Kwame, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Nacee and No Tribe, Joe Mettle, Efya, Becca, R2Bees and Samini to emerge winner.

The ward was to celebrate the achievement of a particular artiste over the last 10 years.

Kojo Antwi was the first to have won the Artiste of the Decade award.
