He might have agreed to join them at the end of the season, but for midfielder Steven Gerrard, is allegiance still remains with Liverpool and Liverpool alone.
At his last home game for the club, the Liverpool legend was given an LA Galaxy shirt to sign his autograph which he refused.
During an autograph signing session at Anfield on Saturday, May 16, the Liverpool captain turned down a request to autograph the kit of his next club.
"I'm not signing it until I'm there," Steven Gerrard said.
Gerrard will be playing his last game for Liverpool in an English Premier League game at Stoke City.
He has amassed over 700 appearances for the Reds, winning 10 trophies with the 2005 UEFA Champions League triumph arguably the crowning achievement of that haul.
