Accident in E/R kills two NPP activists

Two members of the opposition New patriotic Party (NPP) have been confirmed dead in a gory accident in the Lower West Akyem constituency of the Eastern Region.

The deceased have been identified as Kofi Yesu and Taliu Gonja. The unfortunate happened on Sunday, October 2 at about 10:00 pm.

According to an eyewitness, the incident happened at Topase, near the Methodist Primary School, on the Asamankese-Akwatia road.

Reports indicated that the first Vice Chair of the NPP in the Eastern Region, Joseph Ameyaw, who was also involved in the accident, is in critical condition is receiving medical attention at the Koforidua Central Hospital.
