Palmwine highlife music group, Kwan Pa, has won the "Traditional Artiste" of the year award at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) at the Accra International Conference Center.

The traditional band came into existence a year and half ago and it is famous for its palm wine music.

Meanwhile, Mizter Okyere won the Instrumentalist of the Year award.
