Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Remove a Skin Condition You've Never Seen Before

Well, here's a little something new. In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD removes xanthelasma from a patient's sensitive eyelid area. No, this isn't the run-of-the-mill blackhead, cyst or lipoma pop you are used to watching. But fans are still finding the removal just as satisfying.

In the clip, Dr. Lee makes incisions around the growth in a diamond-like shape. The famed derm then uses a pair of blunt scissors to snip under the growth, slowly removing a flap of skin from the man's eyelid. Though somewhat gruesome, this method is one of the best ways to excise xanthelasma, virtually guaranteeing its entire removal.

"That being so close to his eye freaked me out," one fan commented on the clip. "My eyes are watering just watching this," another fan added.

Xanthelasma is characterized by soft fatty deposits that form under the skin, often around the eye area. While the yellowish growths are not harmful, they can be a possible indicator of heart disease and cosmetically undesirable. High cholesterol is often tied to xanthelasma, with the patches actually cholesterol plaque under the skin.
