Manchester United captain on day out with family

As Manchester United edge closer to the UEFA Champions League football next season, Wayne Rooney took time of football for a day out with his family.

Last week, Rooney and his wife, Coleen took their two sons Kai and Klay for a day out at the seaside in New Brighton, Wirral.

Rooney and his family seem to be enjoyed themselves as they were seen trying to catch some crabs from the rocks with a plastic bucket.

Before heading home, they then stopped off to pick up some sugary doughnuts to snack on during the journey back.
