Nollywood star Omotola hails husband

Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has said that no other man would have been able to handle her the way her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde has done through the years of their marriage.

The ever looking young actress who got married to Captain Ekeinde while she was a student at the Yaba College of Technology at age eighteen in a recent interview with Vanguard remarked that, her husband is the only man who has control over her strong personality.

“I don’t think there is any man that can handle me apart from my husband. Not because I am a bad person; it is because I have a very strong personality. I can understand why a lot of female artistes find it very difficult to find the right person,” she said.

Adding: “When you achieve some kind of success, you become really confused as to who really loves you for who you are. It is not really easy. It is very hard finding those people who really love you.

“If you are not a very grounded person, you can also contribute in some kind of way to your own problems and so I might have contributed to my own problems.”

The actress, singer, philanthropist and former model of an Ondo descent from Lagos, Nigeria, got married at the Ikeja registry on March 23, 1996. She is blessed with four children. Omotola made her debut in movies in 1995.
