One Direction ex-member eyes a movie role

According to reports, the 22-years old singer is currently in talks with director, Gurinder Chadha, over a possibility of returning to the movies, where he referred to as his first love.

The 55-year-old Bend It Like Beckham director told the Daily Mirror newspaper that talks have been opened and Zayn wants to stay true to his heart.

‘We’ve met and spoken. He trained as an actor first, then became part of the band. So I think what he’ll be doing is staying true to his heart – and that’s all you can ever do,’ Gurinder said.
