Ghanaians are ignorant for criticizing me - Zylofon boss
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah said his comment was misinterpreted because most people did not think about it critically but rather used their emotions in judging him.
His comments follow a tweet expressing his condolence to the family of Ebony after her demise. In his tweet he said the artiste cried for a “bailout from him” and called for critical attention to be paid to female artistes in Ghana.
However, Ghanaians criticised him saying he did not have to share a private conversation in the public after Ebony passed away.

Others used unprintable words on social media arguing that his tweet was needless.
But in an interview on Accra-based Zylofon FM, Nana Appiah Mensah said his comment was misinterpreted because most people did not think about it critically but rather used their emotions in judging him.
He explained that his tweet was a call for affirmative action for women in the entertainment industry.
He narrated that Ebony called him while he was in London and told him that she wanted to join the growing Zylofon Media brand. He spoke to Ebony on his return to Ghana where they reached an agreement.

He indicated that considering Ebony’s body language and tone, she was desperate to leave Ruff Town Records. He added that his tribute was based on his last encounter with Ebony.
“Tribute are mostly based on the last encounter one has had with the deceased.”
Nana Appiah also added that he is not perturbed by the derogatory comments made the general public. “Your derogatory messages cannot break me. These verbal assaults amount to mob injustice.”
He however indicated that “I'm not beyond criticisms, I accept all criticisms in good faith.”
Nana Appiah Mensah said that he had intentions of signing Ebony this week and was willing to pay Ruff Town Records off in order to poach Ebony to Zylofon Media.
