Kwame Anokye made first TV appearance on the “Look Alike” show by TV Africa where talented Ghanaian youth were invited to present particular musicians and artist and to demonstrate to viewers the same mode and manner such musicians behave and act when on stage. He shares in common with the artiste the elaborate braids, mannerism, and complexion.

According to reports from Entertainment Ghana, the impersonation didn’t end there, Kwame Anokye has been seen at concerts performing as the artiste, gets invitations to grace some events and also grants interviews saying he is the son of the music legend with his looks and mannerism for lavish gains as seen in the court order.

The plaintiff, Daddy Lumba believes his brand is exclusively associated to him within the music industry and him only and that no one goes by that name. He asserts in the court report that the defendant’s imitation and misrepresentation has affected his brand immensely and wants an injunction to prevent the artiste from using his name.

Also, Daddy Lumba seeks a perpetual injunction to stop Kwame Anokye from playing his music at music clubs and other social events for financial gains and any other the relief that the court may deem fit.
