The five artistes who have been signed onto Gra Gra Records are Emmanuel Oyindamola (alias Jamal), Micahel Tamuno (alias Mic Chapterz), Anyanwu Ikechukwu (alias CJ Fastlane), Ogunbusola Oladipo (alias 9ytro) and Oluwayi Odeneye Christian (alias Shawn Cris).

"They are all Nigerian musicians who first come to Ghana to study in university and have decided to make it their preferred base because of the 'conducive environment," Skolary says.

The artistes are hoping to follow in the footsteps of their compatriots Mr Eazi and Patoranking, who first used Ghana as a base and have gone on to launch international careers.

According to Skolary, there are however Ghanaian musicians that would be signed by the record label in the coming weeks and months.

Hip Hop artiste D-Black (who also runs a record label on his own) and Dancehall superstar Jupitar all urged the new signings to be loyal to their label and follow through with the terms of their contract.
