Police to investigate case of rape reports being sold at Police Hospital

Speaking to Pulse.com.gh, Director of Public Relations of the Ghana Police Service, Superintendent Cephas Arthur said "This is too wild to be true. It is impossible."

The Police administration have indicated they will conduct investigations into news that rape reports are being sold at the Police Hospital.

Speaking to Pulse.com.gh, Director of Public Relations of the GhanaPolice Service, Superintendent Cephas Arthur said "This is too wild to be true. It is impossible. It is unheard of. I am going to be there myself to find out."

Investigations by Accra-based Starr Fm have revealed that doctors at the Police Hospital are prepared to write a report incriminating one of rape offenses for a fee, without any medical checkup of the supposed victim.

The investigations added that all you need to press defilement and rape charges against an individual is to pay your way to secure a police report from the Police Hospital in Accra.
